About Me

Stacy Kaye is an award-winning journalist and editor. She grew up in the heart of the Bible belt and considers her faith and her family most important to her. In her debut book, Damaged Goods, A Devotional for the Slightly Imperfect, she uses true stories from her own life to address difficult topics and point readers to Christ. She is also a top-producing Realtor, mom to four incredible children, four bonus children, and Gigi to six amazing grandchildren. She finds joy in juggling the demands of her busy family and work life. When she’s not writing, you will find her shopping, selling houses, traveling, spoiling her grandbabies, and eating as much ice cream as she can. She resides in Texas with her husband of 30 years and their two spoiled Boston Terriers.

Here's what readers are saying:

"What I liked most is the conversational nature of Kaye's writing and the duality she gives it as both a memoir and a devotional. The questions to reflect on, scripture, and prayer prompts that are sprinkled throughout the book are fantastic. As a writer, Kaye is relatable, and her authenticity does what many similar books are unable to do: make it accessible. Overall, this is a wonderful work for women of all faiths to scoop up."

"Stacy Kaye captures you paragraph one. Her candidness in her writing is like sitting directly across from her having and eye to eye conversation. She's informative and witty. Most importantly she shares so many thoughts, emotions, etc. I too have felt and experienced feeling like I have a true friend and sister in Christ with her. Don’t miss out on this read! It’s amazing."

"I found it refreshing and literally could not put it down because the author draws the reader into her life story. Kaye calls it like it is concerning sin, judgment, anxiety, bitterness, fear, and self-righteousness with full disclosure and honesty."

"God knew I needed this book and he put it in my life at his perfect timing. I am truly so very thankful Stacy shared her experiences in this book to remind us God works in mysterious ways."

The author really seems to understand exactly where the struggles are for a modern day woman and mother. This is such an awesome book to use as a study guide whether on your own or with others to help you with your daily walk with God. I don't know about y'all, but I need help EVERYDAY. I want to get one for all my ladies!
